To God Be The Glory

To God Be The Glory
I made this wall saying one day after my Pastor had preached a message about To God Be The Glory. I thought it would be a nice reminder everyday to remember that the Glory belongs to God. I used my cricut to make the wall writing. It is cut in red vinyl. I used the Calligraphy Collection cartridge. I hope you enjoy it.

A Little Bit About Me

I think some of the most wonderful things in life is being able to create what is in your heart. With my cricut it allows me to do things I never could have before. I love to share my work and show people all the fun things I make. Although, many times I use my cricut; I still create other things. I love to make jewelry too. I also do hand written calligraphy. I remember learning calligraphy in High School and it has been with me every since. I have been doing calligraphy for nearly twenty-five years now. I guess creating is what I am and I thank God for giving me this talent.

Welcome Center

Welcome Center
When I first learned about vinyl my church decided they wanted a sign for the Welcome Center, so I was was recruited to make it. This was my very first sign ever. I don't think it turned out too bad. I love working with vinyl.

Always Kiss Me Goodnight

Always Kiss Me Goodnight
I wanted to put a phrase over our bed, but couldn't figure out which one, so my friend helped me decide. She did the lettering on SCAL and I did the butterflies and flourishes with the Cricut cart, Home Decor'. We used transfer tape to adhere it to the wall. It really adds something special to the room.

My Only Love

My Only Love
This is my husband and I on our wedding day. I wanted to do something special with this picture, so I decided to make a twist on it. I cut all the dies out with the Cricut and I glued it all together. It turned out a little different then I had expected, but I truly am pleased.

T-Shirt For A Friend

T-Shirt For A Friend
I made this t-shirt for one of my best friend's husband. It was our first attempt of gold paint on a t-shirt. We both were very pleased to see how it turned out. The design was made on Cricut Design Studio. Then we cut it out in vinyl, ironed it on lightly, then we painted it in gold on a brown t-shirt. After it dried we pulled off the vinyl and wah la! the design.

Family

Family
I wanted make something for the wall that expressed Family, so I decided to use my Design Studio from Cricut and weld a bunch of different designs from different cartridges together. This is my final outcome. I really love the way it turned out. Several people have come over and they have asked for me to make them one for their wall, so I guess it was a hit!
